Twenty years ago this month the world’s first web page was written. It’s creator Sir Berners-Lee (a British physicist, computer scientist and MIT professor) implemented the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and server via the Internet.
Since then we have seen an ever changing medium create social networks and give the average person a chance for their moment of fame via youtube. ‘MP3′ has replaced ‘porn’ as the top search term and spam was suddenly not a strange meaty product found in a tin.
